About Clyde
Clyde is a 3-year-old male pit bull terrier mix living in a foster home in Spring, TX. Picked up off the streets after a tough start, Clyde’s real personality shines through with his gentle, selfless nature. He’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, ready for a fresh start. Clyde gets along easily with other dogs—he lives with another pup and shares food and toys without a second thought. Cat testing has shown he pays cats no mind, so he’d likely do fine living with them as well. Children are also in his comfort zone, especially if they are calm and gentle. For new people, Clyde starts shy but warms up, revealing his sweet, soft nature. He’s happiest when there’s a dog buddy around and does especially well on walks with a canine friend. House trained and crate trained, Clyde will let you know when he needs to go out and happily lounges until you’re home. He likes toys, low-key playtime, and attention, but isn’t needy—a good balance of independence and affection. His ideal home would be patient and willing to give him a minute to settle in, especially during introductions. Add in his cute mealtime dances and love of car rides, and you get a quiet, loving companion. He’s looking for the kind of home that will earn his trust and return the loyalty he gives out so easily.
