About Skye
Skye is looking for his forever family! This affectionate lab mix is about 3 years old and has already shown what a wonderful companion he can be. After being surrendered in Puerto Rico for being "too big," he flourished in foster care and is ready to explore his next adventure. He makes himself at home right away, rolling over for belly rubs and happily checking out his surroundings. Naturally curious and quite silly, Skye loves to follow his humans from room to room. When it's time to go out, he stands at the door, eager for a ride, and travels well without getting car sick, often napping through long trips. Skye adores children and seeks them out during playtime. He’s learning commands like "sit" and "stay" and enjoys long walks. While he wouldn't turn down a fenced yard, an active owner who can provide plenty of exercise would also be a great fit for him. Although he lived with other animals in PR, he seems to prefer a quieter home without larger dogs, having once had a cat best friend. Potty trained and full of love to give, Skye simply needs a family ready to cherish him. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to bring joy into a new home.
