Meet Scotch, also known as Butterscotch for his sweet nature and Scotch Tape because he sticks close to those he loves. At about 9 years old, this large lab mix was surrendered after spending eight years with his family, only to end up at risk of euthanasia when their circumstances changed. Adjusting to life in a shelter after being part of a family isn't easy, but Scotch has handled it with resilience. He’s great with kids and can get along well with other dogs, especially if introductions are done slowly. Cats aren’t a good fit for him—he’s simply too energetic—but he thrives around people and loves a good snuggle session. Scotch is playful, craves attention, and will quickly become your loyal shadow. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and will go home with professional training support to help with his transition.
