About Chinto
Chinto is a 1.5-year-old Boxer/Lab Mix and a perfect medium-sized bundle of affection and silliness. He weighs around 50 pounds and has a heartwarming story that started at a mechanic’s shop out west, where kind-hearted folks ensured he had food and water. Life on the streets was tough for this gentle soul; he often found himself bullied by other dogs, and Chinto struggled to stand up for himself. After a particularly hard encounter, a good Samaritan took him in for veterinary care, helping him find safety as he awaited a forever home. Now, Chinto is thriving and his bubbly personality is on full display. He greets everyone he meets with endless energy, bouncing around like a playful puppy trapped in a larger body. Personal space is a concept he's not familiar with — hugs are what he loves most. Chinto adores people, including adults, children, and strangers; if you have hands, he wants them on him! He’s also great with dogs and enjoys the company of a calm canine friend. So non-confrontational, he even lets the resident cats chase him around without a care in the world. This goofy, cheerful pup radiates joy and is looking for a home where he can receive the love, guidance, and snuggles he deserves. If you're ready for a loyal companion who greets you like a long-lost friend every time you walk through the door, Chinto is your guy. Chinto is set to arrive in Albion, NY in mid-June, and we hope to have a loving family ready for him!
