Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Shadow! This striking black Labrador Retriever mix is well-known for his big, blocky head and an even bigger heart. Shadow has blossomed after coming from a challenging hoarding background. Despite his past, he greets people with friendliness and does especially well with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion. Recently neutered, Shadow is ready for his next adventure in a loving home. He is exceptionally gentle when taking treats and has started discovering how fun toys and bones can be—truly savoring the joys of a cared-for life. Due to his previous experiences, new situations or unfamiliar items can make him a bit nervous, but with ongoing patience and reassurance, Shadow is gaining confidence every day. He knows some basic commands and will benefit greatly from additional training to strengthen the bond with his new family. Shadow is seeking a home that will provide him with the love, stability, and time he truly deserves. Please note: adoptions and fostering are limited to within an approximately 55-mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094, with no adoptions to Canada due to border and breed restrictions. Vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, and neutering are included. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
