About Graeson

Meet Graeson! Graeson has had quite a journey to rescue. This sweet terrier mix was found running loose and rescued by another organization. Unfortunately, they couldn’t provide a foster home, so they reached out to Fur Fun Rescue. Thankfully, we could accommodate him and welcomed him into our care. When Graeson arrived, it was evident he had been on his own for some time. We spent the first hour removing ticks, which were numerous and embedded in his fur. His skin was in rough shape, with several scabs and healing wounds. After a thorough bath, he finally felt clean and comfortable. Graeson was heartbreakingly thin, weighing just 17 pounds, and still needs to gain weight to be healthy. We estimate he is about 3 years old. Despite his history, Graeson is incredibly loving. He quickly bonded with his foster mom and is happiest when she’s near. He thrives on companionship, so a home where someone is regularly there would be ideal. He enjoys snuggling and gladly sleeps in bed with her each night. Graeson gets along well with other dogs and takes his time to build friendships, which shows his thoughtful nature! He enjoys dog toys and is beginning to embrace the fun side of life. Due to his background, he’d be best suited to a calm home with minimal sudden activity or loud noises. He's attuned to his surroundings and alerts when necessary but isn’t a habitual barker. More than anything, Graeson wants to be your loyal companion.
