BB is a 50-pound, medium-sized burst of energy and affection. He thrives around people and loves getting outside for park adventures and splashing in natural water. Pools aren’t his thing—he prefers the sounds and smells of real nature. BB is outgoing, eager to please, and picks up training quickly, especially when snacks are involved. He already knows “sit” and “shake,” and loves a game of fetch or chasing after you to see if you’ll play. Photos can’t quite capture how cheerful and charming he is—he’s got a unique look reminiscent of an extra-large Boston Terrier. He gets along with confident, calm dogs his own size, but isn’t suited for life with small dogs or cats. BB can be an only pet or have the right canine companion, but isn’t a fit for homes with young kids: he’s still learning that keeping all four paws on the floor is better than springing up to greet you. He’s happiest with someone who’s home often and ready for activity—long stints in a kennel leave him miserable.
