About Maddie
Maddie is a small terrier mix puppy ready to begin her next chapter in the DC area. At just 13 weeks old, she’s in the heart of her social stage and eager to explore the world beyond her puppy pile. Maddie’s a bright, curious girl who’s looking for a home where she can run, play with toys, conquer her puppy zoomies, and then curl up for snuggles. She’ll thrive with adopters who are ready for plenty of short play sessions and walks. Patience and consistency will be key as she learns good habits and gets used to the routines of house training and basic obedience. Maddie should do well with other dogs, cats, and children as long as she gets proper socialization and care. Her vaccinations are up to date for her age, but she’ll still need the remaining puppy shots, so caution is important around other animals and high-traffic dog places until she’s finished her course. Because she’s young, Maddie requires frequent potty breaks and exercise throughout the day—homes with a typical 8-hour workday will need to make arrangements to meet her needs. Per adoption requirements, she must be spayed by late August 2026. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
