About Scarlett
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Scarlett, a sweet Southern belle with a charming personality, sharp mind, and an irresistible goofy smile (her lips sometimes get stuck on her teeth!). Rescued as a puppy from the streets of rural North Carolina, she watched her brother find a home quickly, but now it’s her turn to be noticed. Scarlett is energetic, affectionate, and just a bit anxious as she learns about the big world. She may be shy at first, but once she warms up, expect lots of snuggles and loving kisses. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and walks very well on a leash. When bedtime comes, she loves to be tucked in under her blanket and sleeps soundly until another day’s adventure. Scarlett would thrive with an experienced adopter or someone patient and willing to keep working on her confidence. She receives ongoing socialization and will need continued support as she settles in. Though she lives with a dog in foster care, she is selective with canine friends and would be happiest as the only pet in the home. She prefers older, respectful kids who can go slow as she adjusts. With plenty of shepherd energy, Scarlett LOVES outdoor playtime and would really enjoy a fenced yard or lots of daily walks. Fetch and play are her favorite activities, and she’ll surely keep you entertained with her silly antics and reward you with endless affection. Born October 1st, Scarlett is a fun-loving Libra known for charm and loyalty. If you’re looking for a faithful, playful, and loving companion, Scarlett is ready to bring laughter and Southern sparkle into your life. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
