About Gigi

Gigi is an energetic, social baby girl looking for a fresh start. She’s a shepherd and terrier mix who, up until now, has been piling together with her littermates in Puerto Rico. At about 2 months old, Gigi is in a prime window for socialization and shows all the makings of a friendly, playful pup ready to bond deeply with people and other pets. Gigi gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. She needs a home where she can burn off energy—lots of play, exploration, and a balance of snuggles—while learning the basics, including house training. Like all puppies, she’ll need several potty breaks and regular exercise throughout the day, so families with long work hours must plan to meet her needs. Gigi is spayed and has started her puppy vaccines, though she’ll need future rounds to be fully protected. As she’s just a pup now in Puerto Rico, she’s seeking a foster or permanent home in the DC area—one that can support her early growth, introduce her to the world, and help her thrive.
