About Giana
Giana is a young pup looking to start the next chapter of her life. Born and raised in Puerto Rico alongside her siblings, she’s ready to discover a forever home in the DC area. As a shepherd and terrier mix, Giana will likely be an active, curious companion with plenty of puppy energy. At just 2 months old as of June, she’s entering an important socialization phase, so early positive exposure to people, dogs, and new experiences will help her thrive. She shows classic puppy charm—keen for playtime, eager to make new dog friends, and ready to soak up every snuggle. Giana hasn’t spent time in foster care yet, so her quirks and favorites are still a mystery. She’s spayed and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, but she’ll need to complete her vaccine series as she grows. Like any puppy, Giana will need plenty of potty breaks and regular exercise, so anyone with a typical 8-hour workday must have a plan in place to meet her needs. She’s not house trained yet and will benefit from obedience classes—she’s a blank slate eager to learn. While she does well with other dogs, cats, and children with proper socialization, she needs patience and guidance as she settles in. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
