About Yankee
Yankee is a Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix puppy with a personality that fills the room and a heart big enough for everyone he meets. At just 7 weeks old, he and his siblings had a rough start, found abandoned but lucky to land somewhere safe. That hasn’t slowed his spirit: everything is an adventure to him—every toy, every sound, every new face is a chance for joy or a quick cuddle. He’s playful, social, and genuinely eager to bond, whether that means chasing a ball, wrestling with siblings, or snuggling up for a nap. Yankee gets along well with dogs, cats, and loves children, making him a great fit for families. Like any young puppy, he needs consistent training and patience—he’s not house trained yet, and he’ll need time and guidance to learn boundaries. He cannot be crated for more than a few hours at a time, so a home ready to accommodate his schedule is important. Yankee is microchipped and up to date on his puppy vaccines. Spay/neuter will be required once he’s old enough, with support provided by the rescue. If your household is ready for a playful, affectionate pup who will grow up alongside you, Yankee could be your match. Fun fact: born April 4, Yankee is an Aries—expect plenty of enthusiasm and confidence! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
