AvailableAbout Fleming Local In
Fleming is a busy boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for life. This happy pup is always on the move, ready for whatever adventure comes next--whether that's chasing his favorite ball, exploring the yard, or finding a dog friend to wrestle and play with. Living with two dogs and two cats, Fleming has experience sharing his space and enjoys having animal companions around. He's an energetic, playful pup who would love a family ready to keep up with his active spirit and continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he's becoming. Fleming is also a smart boy who already knows "sit" and "down," is potty trained, and settles quietly in his crate overnight like a champ. After a day full of fun, he's happy to relax and recharge before doing it all again tomorrow. Like any young dog, Fleming will thrive with consistency, guidance, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. He has the kind of joyful enthusiasm that makes every day a little brighter, and he's ready to find a family to call his own. If you're looking for an affectionate, playful companion who brings energy, fun, and a whole lot of personality, Fleming may be your perfect match. Please, please consider the work that comes with a puppy before applying: * Middle-of-the-night potty trips * Crate training * Socialization * Chewing stages * Puppy classes/basic training (required) * Patience and consistency for the next year+ Puppies are not born knowing how to be good dogs -- that part is up to us humans. We really don't want someone calling in a year saying their dog is behaving badly and needs to come back because training and structure never happened. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicable ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?
