About Annie Special Needs
Annie is a vibrant, medium-sized pit bull terrier who turns heads with her blue-gray and white coat and sweet, expressive face. At around 6 years old, Annie has packed a lot of heart and resilience into her years. She came in severely underweight and hungry, but has since discovered how good life can be with treats, cozy beds, and people who care. Annie loves her food—she’ll do just about anything you ask for a snack or two—and prefers her own quiet spot at mealtime. She’s easy to train, thanks to her eagerness for treats and attention. Despite her tough start, Annie adores people: she’s loyal, affectionate, and happiest snuggled up on the couch with her family. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids over 8. Annie is protective and would thrive with a confident owner who can give her the structure she needs—dog experience is a must. She gravitates toward women, but she’ll warm up to men, especially if snacks are involved. Due to severe hip dysplasia and old knee injuries, Annie’s active days are behind her. She’ll benefit from gentle exercise, short walks, and lots of comfy naps. Pain management is part of her routine on tough days. A fenced yard (no electric fences) is required, and she’ll do best with a male dog companion. Annie is house trained, crate trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Fun fact: born on November 5, she’s a Scorpio, known for her fierce loyalty and soulful nature. Annie is in Dayton, OH, and waiting to find her new family. Ready to meet your new best friend?
