About Monarch

Monarch is a young, energetic pit bull terrier from the Butterfly crew who landed in a crowded shelter with her puppies—not exactly the best spot for a new mom and her litter. Thankfully, she and her pups got out and into a foster home where Monarch could finally start learning what real comfort feels like. Monarch is sweet-natured, craves affection, and brings plenty of youthful curiosity to the table. She gets along well with other dogs, especially in her foster environment, and is looking for a home with an existing male dog for socialization and playtime. Still growing into her own personality, Monarch is quick to learn but could use an adopter with dog experience to help her settle into routines and polish her manners. She is spayed, house-trained, and has her vaccinations up to date. Monarch does well with children over the age of 8 and comes with a soft, short gray and white coat. She’d thrive in a place where she has the space and structure to burn off energy and get all the deserved attention she missed before. Fun fact: with a September 3rd birthday, Monarch is a Virgo—a sign known for loyalty and intelligence, which fits her well. Your new best friend is just one click away.
