About Macy
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Macy is absolutely gorgeous! She’s an adult Pit Bull Terrier with the cutest short and stocky build. Currently underweight, Macy is expected to reach a healthy 50-55 pounds, and she won’t get any taller. Her lovely gray-blue coat is short and does shed, so occasional baths and nail trims are all she needs to stay looking her best. Macy’s past hasn’t been easy—she came to the rescue underweight, with a large scar on her back end and missing a toe on one hind foot. She also has a hematoma on one ear, which will be treated before she goes to her forever home. Despite everything, Macy is incredibly sweet, gentle, and appreciative of every bit of kindness. She melts into your arms, seeking comfort and affection, and is so well-mannered—clean and quiet in her space, never chewing bedding, and barking only rarely. She loves the company of other dogs and just wants to be cared for. This special girl is also quite clever. She knows the “sit” command, is house clean, and is very food motivated, making her a quick learner who would thrive with formal obedience training. Macy is truly a wonderful dog ready to start her next chapter. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
