Meet Trudy, a 10-year-old Llasa-poo who was found as a stray and brought to the shelter so we don't know anything about her past. But we know that it wasn't good. She was horribly matted, not spayed, and had multiple mammary tumors. Through two separate surgeries, she has now been spayed, had all of the tumors removed, and needed seven teeth extracted. She was a rock star, enduring it all so well, and is all healed now!​ Unfortunately, a couple of the small tumors were cancerous, but our vet believes there is a good chance that the cancer has not spread. We did lung x-rays and her lungs were clear.​ Trudy is very sweet and loving. She loves to be on your lap but is equally content to sleep on her bed or on the sofa with another dog friend. She gets along great with other dogs. ​ She may have a bit of separation anxiety when left alone without the other dogs. Once she is with someone or another dog, she's fine. ​ We cannot say enough good things about Trudy. She's a survivor who deserves the very best home.​ FLFO requires a home visit therefore adopters must be within 40 miles of Baldwin MD.
