Scrooge is a 1.5yo 15lb Lhasa Apso mix. He’s dog and older kid friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule, will wear a belly band in the house and is crate trained. He’s used to a secure fenced in yard so will need some work for harness leashed walks when going places. He’s super sweet loves attention from humans and dogs. He has puppy energy, loves to play with toys and other dogs. Scrooge’s foster requires a home with a secure fenced in yard, another playful dog his size or larger, regular grooming every 6-8 weeks along with people to give leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Scrooge as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Scrooge is neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped.
