About Winnie
Winnie is a gentle soul with a sweet, calming presence that wins people over wherever she goes. At 9 years old, she recently recovered from bladder stone surgery, so she'll need to stick to a prescription diet to help prevent them from coming back. Her foster family can't stop raving about how much joy she brings—neighbors even ask if Winnie can come by for therapy visits, thanks to the delightful mood she brings with her. Winnie is sociable and gets along well with other dogs, but her play style stays very gentle. She’s easy to love and brightens up any household she enters. She’s heading back to the vet soon for a dental procedure, but her rescue is open to a foster-to-adopt arrangement until that’s complete. Winnie genuinely thrives on affection and companionship, and she’d be a fantastic addition to any home looking for a cheerful, well-mannered friend. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
