About Tiny
Tiny is a 3-year-old male terrier mix who came to the rescue after being surrendered in hopes of finding a more suitable home. When he first arrived, fear kept him paralyzed—he was deeply anxious about every new face and sound. Over time, Tiny has started to warm up, especially with one staff member, letting them gently pet and carry him. He's still cautious, but each small step is a big win. Tiny’s future adopter should be patient and willing to move at his pace, understanding he’ll need plenty of time and space to adjust to a brand-new setting. He wants attention and affection deep down, but new experiences can be overwhelming right now. Given his timid nature, Tiny will thrive in a quiet adult home, or perhaps with gentle older teens, but the chaos of young children isn’t a fit. He’s underweight and will probably fill out to around 15-20 lbs. Tiny needs a soft landing and a home that won’t rush him. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Tiny
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Tiny, as a terrier mix, generally does best in a home that offers both companionship and some quiet spaces. Apartments or houses with attentive owners who understand nervous dogs would be a good match for him.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Terrier mixes like Tiny don't need expansive yards but do appreciate regular outdoor walks or a small, secure yard for sniffing. He'll be content with daily outings and time to explore safely.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Tiny is not a good fit for homes with small children because his timid nature makes busy or noisy environments overwhelming. Calm, respectful older teens may be considered.
