SATURDAY, MAY 30 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! ——————— REMY is a handsome, sweet natured guy who's just looking for a family to chill with. Remy is mellow and easy going-- he's very affectionate and just happy to hang out with people. And he's great with other dogs. Remy is 5 years old and weighs 63 lbs. We rescued Remy from a hoarding situation where 30 Lab mixes had been abandoned in a house after the tenants moved out. We don't know how long these poor dogs had been left alone to fend for themselves. We've included one photo of the dogs in the house. He had a bad ear infection that we are currently treating. Yet this guy is just as sweet as they come! He will be such a loving companion for his new family and deserves the best. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
