About Ludacris
Ludacris came into rescue as a puppy in the summer of 2024 after being found abandoned with his 10 siblings across town. Most found homes quickly, but Ludacris and his sister are still with their fosters, looking for a family to call their own. He’s a large, playful mixed-breed—Labrador Retriever and Mastiff—with a soft chestnut short coat. Ludacris has lived with dogs of all sizes and ages, and generally does well, though he prefers dogs that don’t get too rowdy or invasive. He reads other dogs well and will correct pushy behavior with a warning before going back to play. With kids, he’s loyal and affectionate, picking favorites and sticking close, especially to his 10- and 11-year-old foster siblings. Ludacris takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he’s a loving cuddle bug and a true shadow. He’s respectful of the house cat, more interested in play than chasing. He’ll adapt well to a home with other friendly dogs or children who understand gentle boundaries. Ready to meet someone who can show him what real family is all about.
