About Junie
Junie, also known as JJ or June, stands out for her big floppy ears and long legs—a picture of goofiness in motion. She’s springy and a bit derpy, coming alive for a game of fetch or tug. When she’s got open space, she lights up with zoomies and enthusiasm. Despite her energy, Junie’s convinced she’s a lap dog and adores snuggling whenever she feels at ease. She can be timid when meeting new people, especially men, and can react with barking if she’s scared or overstimulated. These barks, though loud, aren’t aggressive but speak to her nerves and need for slow, gentle introductions. Calm handling, patience, and time are what help her decompress. Large dogs make Junie especially anxious, and she does best in settings where she can avoid them. With kids, Junie shines. She’s gentle, sweet, and playful, sharing her affectionate, food-motivated personality with them. She startles easily and can seem like a total baby at times, but beneath that is a loving, smart, playful companion who just needs a little reassurance and a bit of space to run.
