This beautiful 2 year old Lab mix absolutely loves to cuddle. She loves people and she's great with other dogs. She weighs 49 lbs. We rescued Lisa from a hoarding situation where 30 Lab mixes had been abandoned in a house after the tenants moved out. We don't know how long these poor dogs had been left alone to fend for themselves. We've included one photo showing some of the dogs in the house. She will walk on a leash, but if there's any tension then she gets scared and will panic. She'll need more practice to help her overcome her fear and learn that leash walks are fun. Lisa just recently went to her foster home where she'll get lots of love and some training. Lisa is an absolute sweetheart and will be an amazing companion! ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
