About Maggie
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Maggie is a 3-4 year old small Terrier/Chihuahua/Poodle mix who weighs around 15 pounds. Her journey began in a challenging environment, coming from a home where over 60 neglected dogs were trying to survive. Maggie is the last from her group still seeking a forever home after spending time in a loving foster setting where she began to learn how to trust and be a companion. While she remains quite timid around people, she has slowly started seeking out affection on her own terms, especially with her foster mom. Her progress has been slow but steady, showing that with time and patience, she can connect with a caring human. Maggie is described as a "cat-dog," gentle and independent, and will thrive in a calm home with someone who understands her background. Given her history, she needs a forever family who is patient, compassionate, and willing to let her grow at her own pace. Maggie benefits greatly from the presence of another dog and it is required that she be adopted into a home where she will have a canine friend to help her continue to learn and blossom. If youβre ready to offer Maggie the patient, loving home she deserves, she could become a loyal and loving companion as she continues her journey forward. Your new best friend is just one click away.
