Meet Ricky! This sweet and scruffy little low-rider is looking for love and a forever home to call his very own! At just a year and a half old, we aren't sure what breeds make up Ricky's unique mix... We were told he is a "Cowboy Dog" but best we can guess, we think he may have some Corgi and just a dash of Shih Tzu, but your guess is as good as ours! Ricky came to us when his previous family could no longer care for him due to health concerns for a family member, but Ricky won't let that get him down! He is excited at the chance to find a loving new family who will give him all sorts of attention and take him along on all their adventures. Ricky is a happy-go-lucky little guy and is eager to make new friends, both with humans and other playful pooches. While he can be a bit timid with men at the very beginning, he is quick to warm up and once this cutie knows you are a friend he is ready for all the cuddles and affection! We think Ricky may do well in a home with other friendly dogs, polite kids who understand how to nicely interact with a dog, and possibly even a feline friend or two after a proper, slow introduction.
