After plenty of vet care and time to recover, she made her way safely to Maine and is up to date on her rabies and core vaccines, monthly preventatives, and is spayed. Garbo weighed about 20 pounds at the end of May and is microchipped, making her ready to start her new life. She is expected to be a medium-sized mix of German Shepherd Dog and Border Collie. Garbo gets along with other dogs and would be a strong fit for active adopters looking for a smart, loyal companion. Families from across the East Coast and Canada have successfully adopted from this rescue, so distance is not a barrier if you’re willing to meet her in person.
