Rhett
AvailableRhett is a baby male mixed breed, with Border Collie and German Shepherd Dog roots, and is considered medium-sized. He is neutered and his core vaccines are up to date, giving him a healthy foundation. Rhett currently resides in Sebec, ME and weighed around 10 pounds at the end of May. He has been microchipped for added peace of mind, and he socializes well with other dogs.
About Rhett
Rhett and his five siblings come from a tough start after their mother was rescued from a neglectful hoarding situation in Northern Texas. Their mom, Sweetie, was heavily pregnant and dealing with a serious leg injury that led to amputation. Fortunately, she delivered all six puppies in safe foster care, where Rhett and the rest of his litter received a healthy start. The pups made their way to Maine after being vetted and reaching 8 weeks old. Rhett is a Border Collie and German Shepherd mix, and at the end of May weighed around 10 pounds. He’s already neutered, microchipped, and has his core vaccines done, though he's too young for a rabies shot just yet. Rhett gets along well with other dogs and is looking for a family along the East Coast or Canada willing to travel to meet him in Sebec, ME. Each adopter must fill out an adoption questionnaire and, if approved, set up an appointment for a meet-and-greet. Ready to start a new chapter with Rhett?
