About Abby
Abby arrived in Tucson along with her sister after spending her early months in a backyard with little social contact. She’s still discovering new things every day and approaches the world with a gentle curiosity. Abby gets along with both cats and dogs, and although she’s shy at first, she’s always been good-natured around people. In her foster home, she’s started playing with the other dogs and enjoys toys as she’s coming out of her shell. At about 7 months old and around 11 lbs, Abby won’t get much bigger—she’s a small dog with a short, soft coat in shades of apricot, cream, and fawn. She’s spayed, up to date on her vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. Abby is house trained, does well in her crate, and she’s learning leash walking and the daily potty routine. She’d do well in a patient, understanding home willing to help her grow her confidence. Fun fact: Abby is a Scorpio, so you might notice her thoughtful intensity once she settles in.
