Meet Annika, a small, bright-eyed mix of Chihuahua and Beagle who landed in Tucson from Yuma about six months ago. She’s still shy in new environments and takes comfort in predictable routines, but her loyalty to her foster mom is unmistakable. At roughly 3.5 years old and a lean 15 pounds, Annika has picked up house training impressively well and settles quietly in her crate with no destructive habits. Annika gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes and shares her home calmly with cats, too.
