Peanut, also called Teacup, is settling in well and ready to find the right home. Heās a small, golden Chihuahua with a typical big personalityāhe likes to let other dogs know he stopped by, especially outdoors, and heās got a bossy streak. Peanut does best with medium or larger dogs, though heās also done well with smaller ones, as long as his new companions are calm or confident enough to handle his vibe. He takes a little time to warm up, especially around new people or men, but bonds quickly to those he picks as his favorites. Chihuahuas are known for their deep loyalty and Peanut fits that billāheāll distance himself when uncomfortable rather than act out. He isnāt a good fit for young kids, so older children or a quiet, patient adult household will suit him best. Heās house trained, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines (any updates due soon are covered by his rescue). The adoption comes with a free training session to help him settle.
