Princess Sadie came to us from Yuma where she sadly was not redeemed by her family even though they knew she was there. She is trying to be brave as she navigates her rescue journey. She is estimated around 11 years old and is around 11-12 lbs. She is generally quiet and mild mannered though sometimes growls when the other dogs get too close to her and remains somewhat independent and mostly keeps her distance. She would be happier in a home with fewer dogs. She walks nicely on a leash and is doing very well with the potty routine with regular opportunities to get out (fully housebroken). She likes being petted but (thus far) is not too much of a "lap dog". She is a "foodie" and mealtimes are her favorite time of the day. She had a dental while in rescue and does have a heart murmur requiring medication (about $35/mo). She will come with 6 months of sponsored medications.
