About Ace

Ace is a gentle soul with a playful streak, found with his buddy Deuce by someone kind who made sure both were fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped before helping them on their next chapter. Around one to two years old, Ace loves toys, cuddles, and giving kisses. He has the energy and smarts of a Collie mixed with the loyal nature of a Labrador Retriever. Though photos might make him look bigger, Ace is a medium-size companion, weighing about 40 lbs and covered in a black, short coat. Ace is house trained, eager to please, and clicks well with other dogs and children. He’s been curious around cats, and the rescue is happy to see how he does with yours. Ace would fit right in as a house pet and companion—he's affectionate, social, and wants to be right by your side. Extra note: if you’re open to fostering, all his needs are covered during his foster stay, and you’ll help him get one paw closer to home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
