Hank is 14 months old and is quite energetic and playful. He has a very sweet temperament and just wants to please and be near his people. He displays no aggression or resource guarding and seems to love everyone he meets - human or dog. Hank doesn't chew or bite on anything other than toys/bones and doesn't bark much. He is housebroken and partially crate trained. Hank sleeps through the night on his bed in the bedroom and is excellent in the car - though he won't jump in without help (he doesn't jump up on furniture either). Hank knows how to sit, lay down, stay (kind of), and will come most times when called. He'll respond to commands every time for a treat, but may be quite stubborn about responding without one. He is easily distracted by sounds and movement. Hank needs more leash training - he pulls constantly with a regular collar or harness, but is managed better on a Gentle Leader. Because he is so treat motivated, it should be easy to continue his training. Hank has a high prey drive and obsesses over chipmunks, squirrels, and cats. He should not be in a home with cats.
