About Minna

Minna is a 7-year-old golden retriever with a remarkable rescue story. She escaped the meat trade in China thanks to a group effort and made her way to the USA on September 19th. Minna is playful—she absolutely loves rolling in the grass and has a soft spot for her stuffed toys, often doing a little dance of excitement. Recently, her coat has been a bit poofy, but it’s coming back in well. She’s sweet-natured, grateful, and shows a loving disposition typical of dogs who’ve endured hardship. Minna is housebroken and does well around other dogs. After being spayed, she faced a medical setback when an illness spread through her foster home, and later, she required emergency surgery to remove a benign splenic mass. Despite these challenges, she’s pulled through and is looking forward to joining a new family soon. Start your journey together! Apply now.
