About Scottie
Scottie is a 9-year-old female golden retriever pulled from a puppy mill in July, shortly after she weaned her last litter. She arrived alongside her pups—Silly, Spice, and Sammy—all of whom have found homes. Scottie is deeply bonded to her foster mom and seeks connection and affection from people. She does well with other dogs but doesn’t require canine company; she's independent enough to thrive as the only dog, as long as she has her humans’ attention. Tests show her internal health is clear, and she's gained healthy weight since arriving. Right now, she’s waiting until she’s a bit healthier to be spayed. Scottie is house trained and up to date on her vaccinations. For her new home, a physically fenced yard is non-negotiable, keeping her safe as she enjoys outdoor time. She’d be happiest with someone who appreciates her gentle but confident spirit and who can give her all the love she has missed. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
