Trixie is a young, medium-sized female Golden Retriever mix with a golden, medium-length coat, currently in Waterville, OH. She has been spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Trixie is not yet house trained but is learning in her foster home.

About Trixie

Trixie was found loose as a stray, and unfortunately, her former owner never came to take her home from the shelter. She arrived covered in ticks and had a ruptured meibomian gland cyst in her eye that looked infected, so she started medicine right away to help her recover. Now safe in a foster home, Trixie is thriving. She eats with enthusiasm, wags her tail often, and seeks affection from her foster dad. Her gentle side is already shining through. Trixie is currently looking for a place to call her own. She gets along with other dogs, has not been house trained yet, and is still adjusting to all the changes. She arrived in the rescue during Mother’s Day weekend, and more details about her personality will be coming soon. Your new best friend is just one click away.
