About Oreo Urgent And
Oreo is running out of time. This three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier, currently at Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield, urgently needs a home or foster. She’s spent months in a crowded shelter with over 300 other dogs, housed in metal warehouses with no access to outdoor runs. It’s a harsh, high-stress environment and Oreo is at immediate risk of euthanasia due to severe overcrowding. Oreo is an adult with a short, white-and-black coat. She isn’t house trained yet, but with patience and care, she could settle in as a loyal companion. She hasn’t been spayed, but her vaccinations are up to date. Adopters do need to arrange transport (fees apply), but CAPS will help coordinate if you’re on the West Coast. Fosters must be local to Kern County. Oreo’s only request is a real chance at life outside a kennel. Ready to open your door to her? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
