About Nico
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Nico is our most urgent pup currently seeking a foster or forever home! His care has been top-notch in a trainer’s home, but rescue funds are being stretched, making it challenging to help more dogs. Nico would thrive as the only dog in a household, and a committed foster will even be rewarded with a fostering stipend. This 5-year-old, 60-pound, short-coated American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mix is a true source of joy and fun. He loves rolling belly-up in the grass for his signature 'kissy belly up' move, showing off his playful side with endless cuddles, fetching balls, and even dressing up for fun! Nico gets along well with adults and would do best with older kids, bringing laughter and loyalty wherever he goes. He’s medium energy—so whether it's lounging, walking, or playtime, he’s always game. Nico is great in the car, crate trained, and bath approved, and comes with training support for life thanks to his professional training. Nico has impeccable house manners and is just waiting for his forever person to give him a chance. He hasn’t received any applications yet, but he’s more than ready to meet you and become your new best friend! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
