While his brothers zoom wildly around the room wrestling and chasing toys, Nigel prefers a gentler approach to life. Being the smaller kitten, he sometimes finds their roughhousing a little intimidating, so he often watches the chaos from the safety of his “home base” — his foster mom’s lap. Watching Nigel play is absolutely hilarious and heart-melting. He’ll carefully observe his brothers from his secure perch before suddenly gathering a burst of bravery and sprinting out to join the fun for a few seconds. The moment things get too wild, he races right back to safety and proudly settles into his lap spot again, as if it’s an invisible shield protecting him from the craziness. It’s impossible not to laugh at his dramatic little adventures. Underneath his cautious side, Nigel is an incredibly sweet, calm, and affectionate boy with a gentle soul. He loves companionship, attention, and feeling safe with his people.
