About Apple
Apple is a year and a half old and has already carried a heavy load. She arrived after a tough past, surrounded by kittens—some hers, some not—and she cared for all of them as if they were her own. Apple has always put others first, nurturing her babies and giving them every chance. Now, with all the kittens gone to new homes, she waits patiently for her turn. She’s quiet and reserved around people, holding her distance as she tries to learn what feeling safe really means. Staff see her changing each day—letting her guard down, slowly starting to trust. What’s clear is that Apple finds true happiness with other cats. She feels brave and whole with feline friends, and that’s why she’ll only thrive in a home with at least one friendly cat or alongside one of her shelter companions. Apple won’t be an instant lap cat. She’ll need patience and understanding, but for someone willing to wait, her gentle, loyal spirit will shine. She’s proven the depth of her heart. She just needs the space and time to let it show. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
