Hi… my name is Patience. I’m a one-year-old torti girl, and right now I’m having a hard time. The shelter is loud and confusing, and living in a cage isn’t easy for a sensitive soul like me. I’m still trying to understand why I’m here and what comes next. Some days I feel brave, and other days I just watch quietly, hoping someone will notice me. I am a beauty, even if I don’t always feel like it yet. Underneath my swirled torti colors is a gentle heart that just needs exactly what my name says—time and patience. If you watch my video, you’ll see it: I’m inquisitive, a little chatty, and always observing. I’m learning. I want to trust. I want to love. I just need someone willing to let me go at my own pace. I’m not broken. I’m not difficult. I’m just a young girl figuring things out in a new place. Filling out an adoption application is always the first step. Currently, visits to the shelter are by appointment only for approved applications, so please fill out an application, then email it into us . Or, if you prefer, you can print it out on paper, fill it out, and drop it off. The manager will be in touch with you about an appointment for a visit, once your application has been approved.
