About Elsie

Elsie is a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who’s settling into home life after being part of a group of four female cavaliers needing new beginnings. She’s made quick progress in just a few days indoors, learning to navigate steps and absolutely lighting up at the chance to run in a grassy, fenced yard—something she never had before. Elsie’s favorite pastime seems to be snuggling, and she finds comfort curling up with people. Right now, she’s just come off a postpartum period and may need a diaper inside until she gets a routine, but she’s adapting quickly. Elsie gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. She hasn’t been spayed yet. It’s clear Elsie’s looking for a patient, supportive foster or adoptive family who can help her continue building confidence as she finds her place.
