About Alice
Alice is looking for a cozy home where she can rest her head and feel truly safe. She enjoys roaming outdoors in a fenced yard and will let you know when the weather gets too chilly for her liking—otherwise, you’ll need to bring her inside. She loves snuggling in your arms as long as she feels secure and loved, but isn’t impressed with medicine times. Luckily, adding her meds to her food works just fine since Alice is always eager to eat and has a healthy appetite, despite her dental issues. Shelter staff estimated Alice was ten, but she's likely a bit older. She has a heart murmur, an enlarged heart, and dental disease, which are kept in check with medication and supplements. Her teeth haven’t slowed her down—she’s enthusiastic about both soft and dry food and rarely turns down a meal. The medication also means she needs to urinate more often; she wears a diaper to help catch accidents but will use puppy pads sometimes and absolutely loves going outdoors when she can. All Alice wants is a peaceful home to spend her twilight years, with someone who understands her senior needs and can give her the gentle comfort she deserves. She gets along with dogs, cats, and children and would be a lovely companion if you’re able to offer a soft landing. Your kindness could mean the world to her. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
