About Lois Urgent And
Lois is a 6-month-old gray and white Pit Bull Terrier who’s coming down with an upper respiratory infection and urgently needs a quiet space to get well. Right now, he’s at the Kern County shelter, a tough spot for any dog — over 300 others are crammed into basic kennels with no outdoor runs, and the stakes are high. Lois is just a pup and hasn’t had a chance to experience a proper home or learn the ropes of housetraining, so expect a blank slate ready for patient guidance. He is not neutered yet but his vaccinations are up to date. If you can offer Lois a calm spot while he recovers (especially if you’re in Kern County), he’s got a better shot at a happy, healthy start. If adopted outside the immediate area, transport can be arranged for West Coast families, with adopters covering the cost. Lois simply needs someone willing to step up now.
