We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart! ALSO THIS WEEKEND: SATURDAY, MAY 23 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! WEEKEND SHELTER HOURS FOR ADOPTIONS: SATURDAY, MAY 23: CLOSED (Visit our pet adoption events!) SUNDAY, MAY 24: OPEN 10AM - 3PM, NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED! KCK Animal Services is located at 3301 Park Drive, KCK. ——————— DUKE is a friendly and loving guy! He loves attention and he is cuddly and sweet. Duke is playful and curious and likes other dogs. He loves treats and takes them very gently from your hand. Duke came in with a large wound on his side. He was a perfect patient and allowed us to shave the area and clean the wound-- he's a trooper! Duke is a 1 year old Lab mix and he weighs 62 lbs. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
