If you threw a bouncy ball into a room as hard as you could and let it ricochet off of the walls... That would be Giuseppe. Giuseppe is a Frenchie. Giuseppe does not seem to know that he's a Frenchie. He has the survival skills of a cashew. He will play and play and play to the point that he can't breathe...and then he will continue to play. He does not know what "calm down" means and does not wish to learn. Apparently Giuseppe thinks breathing is optional or something. Anyway, Giuseppe is about three years old and weighs around 22lbs. He is A LOT smaller in real life than he is in photos. Dude is TINY. He makes up for it with all of the parkouring off of walls and stuff, but yeah. Definitely smaller than he looks. He isn't terrible on a leash but can be pretty pully but that's to be expected of a bouncy ball that came to life. He's a social butterfly and he's, like, a 12 on a 1-10 extrovert scale. He'll run right up to you and wiggle until you give him attention. He'll try to climb your legs. He LOVES toys and will fit multiple toys in his mouth at the same time because he's super talented like that. Giuseppe does well with other dogs but lacks certain social cues, like when another dog is over his tomfoolery and wants to disengage. He doesn't understand what that means and WILL keep trying to play so a patient, tolerant dog will be necessary. We haven't officially tested him with cats yet but we would expect that he would be very much the same - no sense of when to back off. Kids 12+ because he does NOT like giving up a treat once he has one and, while he hasn't tried to nip, we wouldn't want little hands in the way if he decides to.
