Meet Jolie! Jolie came to us as some sort of unidentifiable mop-like thing She was just...a tumbleweed. After some TLC from Grooming by Crystal (facebook.com/crystaldoggroomer), we were like, oh yeah. That's a poodle. Jolie is about a year old and weighs around 10lbs...maybe a little less now that most of her matting has been shaved off. Now, she may be a year old, but she acts like she is MUCH younger - think crazy, hyper puppy that spins in circles and zooms around and through your legs for fun. Like, just watching her will make you TIRED. She is 1000% a tripping hazard so not ideal for people who aren't steady on their feet because she WILL try and boobytrap you with her leash. She WILL need basic training. Not only is she pretty and has the personality of actual sunshine, she's also the happiest girl in the world. We don't think we've ever seen her tail NOT wagging. She LOVES people and will try to climb straight into your lap or into your arms as soon as she meets you. Her response to everything is to wiggle. She is a velcro dog that wants to be under your skin. She'll worm her way as close as possible and, if unsuccessful, will spin herself in excited circles until you make the mistake of making eye contact with her and then she's all about trying to attach herself to you again. She can be VERY barky when excited (which is almost always) so not ideal for shared walls. Other dogs okay, cats okay, kids 8+. She is a poodle so WILL require regular grooming and daily coat maintenance. Poodles are also EXTREMELY intelligent so she'll need constant physical and mental stimulation - this is not a dog that you can put on a pillow or in your purse and expect her to be fine.
