About Gary Boris Local

The side-eye king has arrived: Gary Boris is a French Bulldog mix who’s got enough personality for the whole block. At about 2–3 years old and weighing 25 pounds, he’s a master of comic timing—his signature side-eye and antics will keep you laughing. Gary Boris can’t help but enjoy car rides, baths, and rolling around on any grass or carpet he finds. He’s comfortable around crowds and has no interest in running off at events, whether it’s a kid’s baseball game or a day out in the park. This little guy is full of quirks. He’s missing nothing in the charm department, and even walks down stairs in his own unique three-legged style. Fully house trained, he’ll let you know where he’d like his mat for the night—no fancy dog beds for him. Because he’s a Frenchie and has trouble breathing, long walks are out, but he gets in his exercise by pushing a basketball around the house—a move that could make him the MVP of your living room. He needs to be the only dog in the home and isn’t a match for families with small children. When food is around, Gary Boris likes to dine solo—no shared mealtimes with other animals, please. He’ll perk up when he sees another dog but keeps things calm and quiet. Gary Boris was born with pulmonic stenosis, a congenital heart condition that means his heart works overtime. He’s now on medication for it, and his cardiologist recommends a procedure to improve his quality of life—but surgery isn’t possible unless a future adopter helps support it. Because of the heart issue, he can’t be neutered due to anesthesia risks. If you’re willing to help a joyful, loving companion get the care he needs, this guy is ready to meet you as he is, with all his quirks and affection. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
