Meet Tillie! Tillie would tell you that, no, it actually DIDN'T hurt when she fell from heaven...but it WAS mildly uncomfortable and extremely inconvenient when she used that hard head of hers to break through the earth's crust on her way up from the underworld. Tillie is many things but an angel is not one of those things. First and foremost, Tillie is going to be a project...probably a lifelong project. She WILL need training. She WILL need consistency and discipline. She WILL test your patience, your mental fortitude, and occasionally, your will to live. She will out-stubborn you any day of the week and twice on Sundays. She will HATE YOU until she loves you (and then she REALLY loves you)...or until you give her pancakes. It's like the universe heard M.I.A. sing "live fast, die young, bad girls do it well" one time and went, you know what, I'm gonna make that verse into a dog! Tillie is a Frenchie mix built like a military tank operated by a gremlin that was DEFINITELY fed after midnight. She's about five years old and weighs 50lbs and...yeah, she needs a bit of a diet but good luck telling her that. She's highly food motivated and the fastest way to make friends with her is, obviously, with food and the most over the top, embarrassing baby voice that you can manage. The more ridiculous you sound, the more she likes you, so just go ahead and humiliate yourself, she loves it. Tillie has VERY strong feelings about her toys. When she plays, she's more intense than a teenage boy playing Call of Duty. Tillie in general is just a very intense lady. She has very big feelings about most things and doesn't do anything halfway. Her perpetual state of being is "zoom". You'll know she likes you when she sits in front of you with that big mouth wide open, breathing (loudly) directly into your face and making noises that would make a demogorgon cry. She has a SEVERE case of only child syndrome. She does not like other animals. She doesn't appreciate the fact that they exist at all. In fact, their mere presence is offensive. She has a blood feud with every living creature besides humans. We are looking for an adult only home (obviously). No other animals. Brachycephalic breed experience preferred, project dog experience REQUIRED. You will either need to have a relationship with a dog trainer already or be willing to schedule training sessions prior to adoption.
