Meet Tillie. She’s not an angel—she’s a stubborn, strong-willed Frenchie mix with a body built like a tank and the self-assurance of a dog twice her size. On her way into your life, Tillie’s likely to test your patience as much as your sense of humor. This is not the kind of project you pick up and put away—expect a lifelong challenge, and expect her to insist on training, structure, and clear limits. Pancakes might help win her over. She’s five and a bit, roughly 50 lbs, and powered by food and a good deal of attitude. Tillie is driven, intense, and attached to her toys like they are her sworn duty. She approaches everything at full tilt and expects her people to cope. Her facial expressions say a lot, but her soundtrack—snorts, grumbles, and the occasional demogorgon impression—says more. She doesn’t tolerate other animals and needs to be the only pet. An adult-only home is mandatory. Applicants should have experience with brachycephalic breeds and a working relationship with a professional trainer (or be ready to start).
